We all have at least one 'Alexa-Friend' in our lives.
It's that person who unquestioningly trusts government, watches the mainstream news and believes they're being 'informed', can't get their head around the fact that those with infinite wealth and power would conspire to bring about dark agenda, and of course they invited an Amazon Alexa spy device into their homes for it's obvious 'convenience'.
This is their tale from their perspective...
lyrics
You don’t know me
You don’t understand
I am not afraid, so stop this reprimand
I can make up my mind for myself
So give this aggravation to someone else
I know that you mean well
Trying hard to save me
Leaving your heaven, surrender your security
I want to believe you
But it’s all too much,
To throw it all away, surrender my trust
Stop, it’s just too much
I want to believe, but I just don’t know
Your words are venom, why can’t you hear my truth
Your contradictions sting, and burdens bear your proof
It’s pointless to carry on, cause you aren’t listening
How can you be so calm
I know that you mean well
Trying hard to show me
Show me all my demons, and the pain that they bring
I want to believe you
But it’s just too hard
To shatter my reality, and face my scars
Just stop
Just give me time
I will believe when I’m good and ready
But I can’t bring myself to concede
I’m glad that you’ve got it all worked out
But I still see another way
Just stop,
I’m just not ready to admit
That everything I’ve known was wrong
